Who? Sally Odgers and Gillian Curtin.
Sally Odgers has been writing for over 30 years. Her publications include children's books at all levels, historical novels, fantasy and romance for adults, non-fiction, educational material, poetry and scripts. She began tutoring young (and not-so-young) writers in the late 1970s, and branched out into manuscript assessment in the 1990s.
Gillian Curtin is a novelist and editor. Her novels are published under a penname. She specialises in erotica, fantasy, romance, historical fiction, dark fantasy/paranormal urban fantasy and any combinations of the above
What? Affordable Manuscript Assessments offers assessments, editing, workshops and mentoring at affordable prices.
Why? Manuscript assessors help writers make the most of their manuscripts before they approach publishers. Assessors pick up problems in style, plot, character and format and help you fix them. This can be expensive, but AffMA is committed to reasonable prices and value for money.
